On the back burner

Screwed.

You are a living screw. You can't walk. You can roll, spin, and bite into things — and whatever you bite into becomes your body.

The idea

Two planks screwed at the ends make a compass. And a compass walks.

There are no recipes and no build menu. Screw yourself into a plank and you've made a hinge. Screw into a second one and you've made legs — ugly, wobbly, barely-functional legs that fall over a lot.

That's the game. Every barrier sits just above what a rolling screw can manage and just below what a walker can clear, so "you need legs" is a measured fact rather than a hint.

A screw with ambition.

Dead screws in the background have X's for eyes. The game never mentions it.

Where it's at

On the back burner.

The prototype plays, the levels are measured, and the walker falls over about a third of the time. Fixing that properly means giving the planks actual feet, which is a real job rather than a tweak.

So it's resting. Not cancelled, not finished — parked somewhere warm until it gets its turn again.
