Private Playtest is underway.

Everyone Expire Playtest banner featuring Malice

I've let a small number of people who requested access into the Everyone Expire Private Playtest. The gates are open a crack. A few unfortunate souls have wandered in. Malice is delighted.

I sincerely hope we get some feedback: the good, the bad and the ugly. Especially the ugly. That's usually where the useful stuff is hiding.

First bug. First fix.

We've already had an initial graphics-support bug reported: the game launched, but the screen turned into a colourful mess instead of a miserable adventure.

I've added an optional Compatibility mode (OpenGL) launch choice on Steam. The affected player is now up and running, so that appears to have resolved their issue. Thanks for reporting it—and for sticking around while I poked it with a stick.

If you see broken or garbled graphics, try:

  1. In your Steam Library, right-click Everyone Expire Playtest and open Properties → General.
  2. Under Selected Launch Option, choose Play Compatibility mode (OpenGL), or choose Ask when starting game and select it at launch.
  3. Restart the game. If it still looks wrong, send me a bug report.

If the game already looks right, carry on with the normal launch option.

Already unfortunate enough to have access?

I implore you: send feedback. Tell me what works, what breaks, what confuses you, what drags, and what makes you want to throw the entire party into a pit. Tell me about the bits you enjoy, too—I need to know which bad ideas to keep.

For bugs, the build version, what you were doing, what you expected, and a screenshot if possible all help. For everything else, plain honesty will do.

Help mould this, erm… miserable adventure.

Send feedback   Or email support@rardo.co.uk.

Access is still limited. If you've requested a place and haven't been admitted yet, thank you for your patience.
